OUR
MISSION

Redeemed and Radiant aims to create a space where trafficked infants receive care, safety, and healing, learning there is no shame for the trauma they have been through, only the redeeming love of the Lord. Our team is currently raising funds and finding partners in this mission both locally and globally.

ABOUT

What have we been up to?

Though the vision for Redeemed and Radiant was first placed on the heart of founder Mikayla Killpatrick years ago, the organization officially came to life in 2023 with the formation of our board of directors and the granting of our 501(c)(3) status. Since then, we've strived to raise awareness, collaborate with other organizations dedicated to ending sex trafficking, caring for infants who have experienced trauma to gain necessary experience, and raise the funds needed to establish a safe haven—one that will offer comfort and healing to infants from around the world.

We've held three in-person events so far, with the most recent taking place in November 2024. At this event, we aimed to shine a light on the heartbreaking reality of human sex trafficking—a crisis affecting an estimated 27.6 million people worldwide, many of whom are young children, according to the U.S. Department of State. Thank you to all who attended and to those who made generous donations

We aim to continue our mission with an awareness event taking place on January 11th - National Human Trafficking Awareness day. We are so grateful to Revel 77 Coffee for partnering with us by donating a portion of days proceeds and providing a venue to spread the word about all that Redeemed and Radiant aims to accomplish.
